3 blocks from the Courthouse. For over 10 years, chef/owner Ben Lyman has been dishing out his creative takes on both cajun and southwestern fare as his restaurant has become a staple with the Marietta faithful.  You’ll see him seating guests, taking orders, clearing tables and doing just about anything that needs to be done during the hectic lunch hour.  The unassuming storefront actually packs in quite a few tables and you’ll see most of them filled with courthouse goers, locals and the like.  The hands-down favorite is the fish (Tilapia) tacos and you’ll find plenty of links to Lyman’s beloved recipe on the web.  The tacos have a decidedly cajun twist with a cayenne spiked cornmeal batter but are finished off with the traditional cabbage and tomatillo salsa.  Other must-haves are the gumbo, the Pasta Ya-Ya (linguini with spicy chicken, roasted poblanos, charred corn in a tequila chipotle cream sauce) and the (fried) Oyster Tasso Salad with gorgonzola in a housemade toasted pecan vinaigrette.  Rounding out the eclectic menu are empanadas, quesadillas, burritos, jambalaya, crawfish and even edamame.  Daily specials typically include several vegetarian options.  Service is quick which is why you’ll see plenty of lawyers over here.  Don’t feel rushed though, you can stay here awhile and order a slice of key lime pie or one of the dessert specials before heading back to the grind.
