.6 miles from the Courthouse. It’s like a 1920′s era soda shop, complete with a great selection of glass-bottled sodas all made with pure cane sugar. Add to that, locally-made ice cream and fresh coffee from nonprofit Fayetteville micro roaster Love Nomads Coffee. Finally, there is a great lunch menu of hot dogs (with or without chili), salads, and sandwiches. Highlighting the extensive sandwich menu are The Roosevelt (angus roast beef, vinegar-based bbq sauce, and cheddar on focaccia), The Fayette Cuban (pulled pork, ham, swiss and a pickle on a wheat beer hoagie), and David’s Favorite (angus roast beef, horseradish cheese and bacon aioli on ciabatta). You can also opt for a BLT, a hummus sandwich, house made chicken salad, or you can design your own sandwich. There’s also the aforementioned chili and a soup of the day. This place is about as close as you can get to the courthouse for lunch.
